Refund Policy
Effective date: 1 June 2026
This Refund Policy applies to the Site Risk Assessment report and any other reports or services ("Reports") purchased from BuildIntel (Clearwater Consulting, ABN 60 662 312 217) through buildintel.com.au.
Our delivery commitment
We aim to deliver your Report within 48 hours of purchase. Because each Report is prepared from your property's address and third-party data, occasional delays can occur.
When you are entitled to a full refund
We will provide a full refund of the purchase price in either of these situations:
Property not found — we are unable to locate or identify the property at the address you provided, and so cannot prepare your Report.
Not delivered within 10 business days — we have not delivered your Report within 10 business days of your purchase.
If either applies, email us at info@buildintel.com.au with your order number and we will refund the full amount to your original payment method, normally within 10 business days.
Reports already delivered
Because Reports are digital products prepared specifically for your property, we generally do not offer refunds once a Report has been delivered, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law (see below) or where the Report contains a material error.
Errors in a delivered Report
If you believe your delivered Report contains a material factual error, contact us at info@buildintel.com.au within 3 days of delivery. We will review it and, where appropriate, correct and re-issue the Report at no charge, or provide a refund if we cannot resolve the issue.
Cancelling before work begins
If you wish to cancel and we have not yet started preparing your Report, contact us as soon as possible and we will cancel the order and provide a full refund.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our Reports come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Among other things, our services must be provided with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for the purpose you told us about. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, including a refund. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes those rights.
